Who We Are
AccidentAssist is a consumer information and referral service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not represent you in any matter.
Information We Collect
We collect the information you submit through our forms, including your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the city and state where an incident occurred, and your responses to the questions we ask. We also automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, referring URL, and campaign or click identifiers.
How We Share Your Information
We share the information you submit with participating attorneys, law firms, and service providers so they can evaluate your request and contact you. We may also share information with vendors who help us operate our website, verify submissions, prevent fraud, and record consent (including certificate providers such as TrustedForm). Once your information is shared with a participating attorney or provider, their own privacy practices apply to their use of it. We do not sell information to unrelated third parties for their own general marketing purposes.
Communications Consent
When you check the consent box and submit our form, you agree that we and participating attorneys or providers may contact you at the phone number and email you provided, including by autodialed and prerecorded calls and text messages. Consent is not a condition of any service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or contact us to be removed.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to evaluate your request against the criteria of participating programs, to connect you with participating attorneys or providers, to prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions, to comply with legal obligations, and to measure the performance of our advertising.
Data Retention and Security
We retain submissions and consent records (including the certificate URL, IP address, user agent, timestamp, and the exact disclosure text shown to you) for as long as needed for compliance and record-keeping purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted by contacting us at support@accidentassist.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version here. Questions can be sent to support@accidentassist.com.
